A Big Surprise In Doylestown

On July 21st, Matt and I packed up and left the Gendex National Sales Meeting, destination, Chicago. But before we headed out of the area, we couldn’t resist the urge to surprise Dr. Michael Dachowski, one of the first few owners of our new GXDP-700, with the bus—especially since his office is right down the road from our Hatfield office.

With some of the Gendex team in tow, we told Dr. D and others from his office, including his fiancé, Sharon, that we had something really exciting outside in the parking lot. Baffled, they came out of the building and approached the bus. The amazed look on their faces said it all!

This was something they neverexpected. I loved it that we were able to pull this off, especially given that the surprise was a 45-foot coach bus! Dr. D’s first comment was “WOW,” and then he joked, “Is this for me? Can I keep it?”

After giving Dr. D, Sharon, Gerri, and Donna the grand tour of the inside of the bus, he was very excited to be the first doctor on the road to Experience Gendex. After the tour, he said, “This is a first-class way to present first-class products.”

He and Sharon also hinted about making the bus part of their annual Christmas party! Now THAT would be interesting…white lights on the dental chair and Pan, maybe even icicle lights hanging from the awnings…

We spent a bit more time visiting, and then it was back on the road.

What great fun! I could get used to this!
